Sit and relax – our driver will do the rest and you can enjoy the drive through the Tsaris mountains to one of our sundowner places where a cooldrink is waiting for you. Do not forget your camera!

Fossil Tour (paid)
Yes, the area around the lodge is a paradise for geologists, archaeologists and palaeontologists.This guided tour gives you more insight into evolution in this area.

Excursion to our spring (paid)
We will take you through the canyons of the Tsaris mountains to Klipspringer spring, roughly 8km from the lodge. Experience the grandeur of the canyon, about 400 m deep, along with the tranquillity of the spring under huge fig trees. Lots of birdlife and other mamals coming to drink. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the silence.

Hiking (paid/free)
We have several well marked hiking trails around the lodge, from a leisure stroll to ambitious hikes with climbing sections. But one thing is common for all hikes – the breathtaking scenery you are walking through.
If you like to get more insight about geology, fauna and flora you can book a guide who will accompany you or your group (paid) otherwise hiking on your own is free.
MTB
You love to ride your MTB? We have the trails for you!
The sound of millions of small slabs under your wheels and the hoof-prints of the zebras next to your tire track – unforgettable.
A very unique experience in this terrain, from steep uphills to breathtaking downhills and in between either on top of the ridges or down in the valleys, you will like it!
We have marked trails, some shared with the hikers, but you can feel free to drive everywhere on the farm!
4x4 offroading
If you own a 4×4 we can offer you to try our 4×4 tracks, from soft to adventurous, but everywhere with a stunning view into the Tsaris mountains! In case you are not an experienced offroader, start slowly with the easier ones, recovery in this area is more than difficult!
Birding
We have lots of birdlife at the lodge, ,we are feeding some of them, they are coming to drink here and some birds do self-service with feeding on the palm fruits or acacia bloom. You can enjoy while having a coffee at our veranda or when you visit one of our springs or even in between! Do not forget your binoculars.
Stargazing
Due to nearly zero light pollution we are a perfect place for stargazing. Except the lighting for the paths to the rooms and the light at the waterhole (only on when guests at the veranda) there is no light around, perfect for watching the nightsky, maybe you see a falling star?
Geology
One thing is for sure, long time ago, great things happened in this area. Namibia is a dream for geologists as you can directly touch it without digging. Need more insight?
